Mummy Milk Makes Me Massive

Today I weigh 10 lbs 9 oz. This means I gained an average of an ounce every day over the last week. Not only does this represent the fastest weight-gain I have yet achieved, it is greater than the predicted gain for my age, meaning that I am on the right track to being the "correct" weight eventually. (Until now, I was plummeting off the bottom of the graph!)

And it's all thanks to Mummy's Marvellous Mammaries!

Party Baby

This evening I went to a party with Mummy, Daddy, Connor and Dirk. Here are some grown-ups cutting their birthday cake. Sixty years man! That's 235 times as old as me!

Great Outdoors and Great Indoors

Today I took Mummy, Dirk, Connor, Daddy, Kate, Sarah and Kenny for a walk in Stockgrove Country Park. They all looked a bit hungry, so I took them for a meal afterwards.

Kenny liked my joke about the actress and the bib.
This is Auntie Kate. Dirk's a bit wary of her, but she's OK.

My lunch was served first, as I'm most important.

Needles and Safety-Pins

I had two injections today; one in each leg. The immunisations were as follows:

...LEFT LEG:..PCV or "7-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine" for short.
RIGHT LEG:..DTaP (Diptheria, Tetanus and Pertussis)
............................IPV (Inactivated Polio Vaccine)
............................Hib (Haemophilus influenzae)

I was not best pleased about the needles. (Note to self: Grow up to be a pharmacologist and invent a system of immunisation where the stuff can be mixed and applied with nappy cream.) I had lots of Mummy milk afterwards, so it was probably just about worth the all the agony. And pain. Agonising pain, in fact.

Incidentally, my weight has shot up to 9 lbs and 2 oz since I was last weighed. This is the first time I have weighed more than Dirk did when he was born. The great wobblebottom!

And so this is Christmas

Lots of paper. And some new duds.

Is this what they've been getting worked up about for half of my entire life?

Perhaps next year I'll look into the whole business a bit more.

And now a nap, I think.

Homecoming King

I arrived home with Mummy this afternoon. This is my road.

This is my new bed. Just right for a good wriggle!

This is my big brother Dirk. He seems to think I'm lovely... well he ain't blind!

I'am glad somebody's happy! I had my BCG injection today and it hurts.

Elemental Babyhood

Sucking

Bleating

Cooing

Snoozing

The bottom two photos were actually taken yesterday by Mummy. The lady is my Auntie Caroline.
